The Process of Creating an Arrangement
Flowers are for people, and our designers gain a true understanding of what you are looking depending on the occasion and preferences. We can make suggestions based on factors such as room temperature, lighting, time the flowers are out of water, and transportation arrangements.
Each situation is also unique. For instance, in sending flowers to a hospital or long-term care facility, we recommend purchasing a vase or container with your flowers so nurses caring for your loved one don’t have to think about this. Our experienced flower designers bring a creative touch to all occasions from personal purchases, corporate events, weddings or funeral flowers.
We Don’t Order Pre-Made Bouquets from a farm or cut corners.
We ensure that every flower that goes into an arrangement is perfect. Aside from the visual aesthetic, unhealthy flowers could spoil their neighbours and aren’t good for long-term health. In designing your personal arrangement, we want to capture what is unique to you or the person who is receiving the gift. By hand-crafting all of our arrangements we ensure the finest quality.
Where Our Flowers Come From
As much as possible, our flowers come from top local flower providers within Western Canada. Speciality flowers are ordered in as far away Thailand, New Zealand and South America. These are typically orchids such as Birds of Paradise, tropical foliage and cactus flowers. We regularly stock exotic flowers, so make sure to come by our Edmonton location to smell the roses.

Everyone at Best Buds is a trained floral artist. Depending on your needs, we can help you design a simple cut arrangement or deliver elaborate floral arrangements for weddings or corporate events.
